Finding Fabulous despite being Beautifully Broken
and sharing tips, encouragement, and love along the way!
Welcome to Finding Fabulous! My name is Lisa Marie Galindo and I am the creator of Finding Fabulous, a place to chronicle my journey of finding the best version of me; but also to share recipes, encouragement, fitness motivation, parenting tips, inspiration, and life hacks to help you along your journey of finding the best YOU! It is my desire to help others see that they are not alone in this journey we call LIFE and that you truly do hold the key to your own happiness. Through finding the right unique balance of health, family, finances, friendship. spirituality, and self-love you can find your happiness!
I started my health journey after falling ill and finding out I had an autoimmune disease called Hashimoto's. I felt so alone and trapped in the miserable life I was leading. Until one day I decided to commit to pulling myself out of the deep, dark pit I had fallen in and take control of my own happiness. Now I am chronicling my journey while providing help for others in their journeys. No two journeys are alike, but you don't have to go it alone.
Here are just some of the things you will find on my page:
Contact - Visit this page for my email address or to find me on social media. You can also
add yourself to our mailing list to receive updates on my newest posts including
blogs, recipes, fitness tips, and more.
My Journey Blog - Shares the up and down story of my health while I search for ways to
optimize my life living with Hashimoto's. This blog is real, its raw, and its
personal. These are my personal experiences, but also health tips I have
learned along my journey.
Life Blog - These blogs are a hodgepodge of Life topics from parenting, to relationships, to
fitness, to crafts, and more. There is something for everyone here.
Recipes - This is where I share clean eating, healthy recipes. As most people with
Hashimoto's I eat a gluten free diet. Most of the shared recipes will fall into this
category. You know the old saying, "You are what you eat?" You don't realize just
how much truth is behind that when you are young. Learning to eat clean isn't
always easy but its always worth it.
